A major milestone for the QUASAR Lab: the first QZabre Quantum Scanning Microscope (QSM) in Korea has been installed and commissioned in our laboratory (July 6–9, 2026). This nitrogen-vacancy (NV) scanning magnetometer images magnetic fields at the nanoscale and forms the centerpiece of our quantum-sensing platform.
We warmly thank Zhewen Xu for carrying out the installation and hands-on training — and congratulate him on commissioning the very first QSM in Korea. Our thanks also go to Matteo Stefanini and the whole QZabre team for their dedicated support throughout the process.
We are especially grateful to Prof. Sanghoon Kim, whose investment covered the majority of the instrument's cost and made this acquisition possible. We look forward to many exciting results and discoveries through our close collaboration with his group.
